A little about Ben
Ben is a script editor and story consultant with years of experience developing feature films and High-End TV series for a variety of broadcasters and SVoDs.
He collaborates with writers, directors, and producers at all stages of development, contributing to both original screenplays and adaptations across various genres.
Most recently, he has contributed to the development of LOST BOYS & FAIRIES by Daf James (BBC1) which was selected for the 2024 Berlinale Film Festival and has won: the Seriencamp Official Competition Award, the MIPCOM Diversify TV Award, and the TV Award at the Virgin Atlantic Attitude Awards. The series also received multiple nominations for the Royal Television Society Craft & Design Awards.
Reading for a range of screenwriting schemes, chairing screenwriting awards juries and speaking at industry events allows him to discover and champion upcoming screen talent. Before Ben worked in the screen industry, he was a secondary school teacher of English and media and is currently working with the Film and TV Educators Network to strengthen the link between education and industry.
